For the summer period, 4 interns (3 developers and 1 QA) joined our team to test their skills and gain new experience. Despite different backgrounds and level of knowledge, they are all driven by the same goal - to develop themselves as future professionals.
The challenge, most of us have faced after graduating, are the high expectations from potential employers when starting with the first steps on our career path. Often, they assume that we should already have years of experience when we are only just entering the labor market. Experience is gained from the opportunities given. That is what our summer internship program is all about - to offer valuable knowledge and skills to the interns, so they could enter the labor market with ease. Interns develop themselves while working next to professionals of their field in a challenging project.
Our interns are not here to only fulfill tasks they are given by the team but their input is very much expected and respected in planning and decision making process. Summer interns are considered as team members and their enthusiasm brings a smile to everyone’s face. They are a part of our Ignite family and are invited to participate in all the summer events and activities as well. This internship program is not only an amazing chance for the interns to gain insight into the depth of software development but also a possibility for the company to grow through new ideas.
